Actually, you'll get the 1993, 1997 and 2017 games as part of the online SNES and N64 services. But the nearest you'll get to a Star Fox game right now is the Switch version of Starlink: Battle for Atlas.
Actually, https://starfox64.baldninja.com/sf64cast.htm is the source of information where non Star Fox team character info is taken from. Due to modern Star Fox appearances like Smash making backstory information informing people that Wolf's history with Star Fox began with James, it is very unlikely that Wolf would be the same age as Fox or Wolf would have been fighting against Corneria's armies at about 11-12 years old when Andross was banished. Just minus 7 as per the intro of Star Fox 64 and Wolf would have been around 20 when he was an outlaw.
Hey there. Unfortunately, Star Fox is a still relatively small series that simply does not have the same kind of following or public relevance as the more obvious Nintendo IPs.
Sorry, but if Nintendo did a Switch port of a Star Fox game it would more likely be Zero, with the right alterations made necessary for improvement, considering they allowed other Wii U games to find a new chance of better playtime.
I just watched this interview and I really enjoyed it. I really enjoyed Jim's performance as Fox in Assault, as well as the rest of the cast, their performances just suited their characters so well, Nintendo really should have kept the series formula they had going if things worked out. Its been 15 years since Assault was released and it still holds up even if the sales wasn't what Nintendo were looking for back then. In case anyone was wondering, Jim's other character in Assault was James McCloud, Fox's father, a nice little tradition that Fox and James share English voice actors.
Very good work. It would have been interesting to hear the sounds of uncompressed Lylat Language for anyone unfamiliar with the PAL option.
