The Snaplak is a wide spread species of burrowing, vicious menaces living in various locations on Dinosaur Planet.
Appearance[]
Their appearance is like that of the EggSnatchers, suggesting that they are of the same family. They have a much smaller relative known as Snipluk.

Lifestyle and Habits[]
The Snaplak creatures are known to burrow themselves underground, awaiting for any prey to ambush as they pass by, attacking them with slashing, sharp claws or head butting with their sharp beak. They have no real defenses against Krystal's Staff other than diving for cover if they have not been fully beaten.
When risen from the ground, they are much taller than Fox McCloud, yet they remain partially underground which prevents their correct size from being known.
This species is difficult to document as they cannot be easily approached without causing the creatures to dive for cover underground, combined with their subterranean based lifestyle.
