Aspects from the Star Fox series have made their way into other games over the years.
On the Night Cruise stage, crash into all 5 signs labeled StarFox. After ramming all 5, an Arwing will fly overhead and drop a powerup.
F-Zero X introduces two racers who are throwbacks to Star Fox characters. The first is James McCloud a human recreation of the Star Fox character. His vehicle the Little Wyvern also slightly resembles a modified Arwing. The second character is Leon, an alien who resembles Wolf O'Donnell with Leon Powalski's name. The game also introduced Octoman, who would later make an appearance in Star Fox Command. Both the Star Fox and F-Zero series have Takaya Imamura as lead character designer.
Fox appears as a Playable Character with a stage based on Sector Z and takes place on top of the Great Fox. The Arwing appears as Fox's entrance, while more Arwings appear in the Sector Z stage, which swoop down and fire lasers. Sometimes the Wolfen and Copperhead missile appear in the background which swoop down and fire lasers and the Character in a Easter egg.
The Star Fox Characters can appear on the Scoreboard.
There are five masks which represent animal faces, and they are to remind of five Star Fox characters. Moreover, in the inventory, those masks are aligned in that order : Keaton mask, Bremen Mask, Bunny Hood, Don Gero's Mask and Mask of Scents, respectively Fox McCloud, Falco Lombardi, Peppy Hare, Slippy Toad, and Pigma Dengar.
Star Fox 64 can be seen on the TV Screen in the player room from Pokemon Stadium 2, if the player have recieved a Nintendo 64 via mystery gift from Pokemon Gold/Silver and Crystal, changing the ornament as Pikachu doll for Charmander doll or replacing it. Sometimes the TV Screen image changes to show Star Fox 64.
Fox returns as a playable character and with two stages: Corneria and Venom, both atop the Great Fox. Corneria's stage is a side view, and Venom, a frontal view. Both stages possess Arwing and Wolfen which swoop down and fire lasers. On Corneria, the two fighters can be used as platforms, but fly off screen after several seconds. Falco, also appears as an unlockable Character.
An Arwing may be obtained by entering a special code into Tom Nook's gift system. It is one of the most expensive items in the game, selling for 25,000 Bells at Nook's store.
- James McCloud, a returning character from F-Zero X on the Nintendo 64, bears the same name as Fox's father, and has a similar appearance to said character (despite being human). He is part of a group called "Galaxy Dogs," a parody of the name "Star Fox." McCloud's biography in F-Zero also notes him having a wife and a young son.
- Another character, Leon, is not only named for the Star Wolf member of the same name, but also resembles Star Wolf's leader, Wolf O'Donnell
Fox, Falco, and Wolf are playable and there is a new stage taking place on a ship (the stage is called the Lylat Cruise) above Corneria and in an Asteroid Belt. The Corneria stage from Melee is also available. Other characters and objects from the Star Fox series of games also have cameos as unlockable trophies and in a Easter egg.
Animal Crossing: City Folk (or Let's Go to the City)
You can get an Arwing as a collectable item of furniture. If you touch it, it will play the Star Fox Theme.
A Fox McCloud costume is featured in the game, among other Nintendo themed costumes.
Fox and Falco return as playable characters in the fourth installment of the long running franchise. The Andross assist trophy from Super Smash Bros. Brawl also returns in this game. The 3DS version of the game features Corneria as a returning stage, while the Wii U version features a brand new stage based off of Star Fox: Assault, the Orbital Gate Assault, and Lylat Cruise returns as a familiar stage from Brawl. Both versions of the game feature a number of collectible trophies from the Star Fox series.
Wolf O'Donnell does not return as a playable fighter.Star Fox 64.
Costumes for Fox, Falco, Slippy, Peppy, and the Walker from Star Fox Zero can be unlocked by completing the 100 Mario Challenge. The Fox and Falco costumes can also be unlocked by scanning their respective amiibo.

You can get an Arwing as a piece of furniture which plays the Star Fox theme tune when used.
The penultimate boss of the game is large head with hands, similar to Andross in Star Fox 64.
StreetPass: Mii Plaza features four collectible hats for Mii characters to wear from the Star Fox series. The first pair are a Fox Hat and Arwing Hat which can be found by playing Find Mii 2. The remaining Falco Hat and Wolf Hat can be exchanged for coupons earned in either Mii Force, Flower Town, Warrior's Way, and Monster Manor.
- Puzzle Swap: This game features a collectible puzzle which when completed makes a 3D diorama of Star Fox 64 3D.
The Arwing item from the previous games returns as a random prize for the fortune cookies. The following fortune is read for the Arwing, "Your friends need you. They always need you. They will never stop."
Steel Diver: Sub Wars
In Steel Diver: Sub Wars, a character resembling Peppy appears to introduce the player to the free game. This is also a reference to StreetPass: Mii Plaza, as a talking rabbit also sells games in that game. Star Fox character designer Takaya Imamura also did character design for Steel Diver: Sub Wars.
In the June 2014 update of Steel Diver: Sub Wars, the Blue Marine from Star Fox 64 was added as a free DLC submarine.
Fox McCloud appears as a playable character in Monster Hunter Generations.
