The Machine Gun is a default weapon available in Star Fox: Assault. It fires rapid shots, which is good for racking up damage.

Pressing and holding the A button will allow the gun to fire until the entire magazine is depleted.

The ammo goes by quickly, so it should be conserved and not used on any vehicle. Another solid use is on a group of opponents to busy fighting each other to notice you. Also, If you are up a hill and your opponent is trying to get to you, you can pester them with the machine gun.----
