Spy Eyes are a type of satellite possessed by the Venomian Forces in their secret base at Sector X. They lack weaponry, causing some to speculate that their purpose was as a form of early warning satellite. However, they don't do much upon Star Fox's arrival, indicating that the base's destruction resulted in their deactivation. In addition, it was also believed that they acted as a supply depot because of their possession of various items such as supply rings.

Because of the destruction of Sector X, they often floated among the debris of the ruined base.
