The Tektron is a boss that appears in Star Fox 2. It appears only on Hard and Expert difficulty levels, randomly chosen among four possible bosses by Andross to attack the Star Fox team.
The Tektron is fast and nimble. Its attack pattern begins by firing a single rapid laser cannon before compressing itself into a diamond-shaped box. It will then spin up and zip around the battlefield erratically, occasionally smashing into the player.
When at the brink of destruction, there is a high chance the Tektron will flee the battlefield if not finished off quickly. The Tektron will regain all of its health if allowed to do so.
