GeneralEdit

In game, it consists of keeping a red bar within a green bar during a cinematic. In the cinematic, Fox fights the ShadowHunters, four ghosts of the SharpClaw, fire columns, and a silhouette of General Scales who grabs him. When the test is completed Fox opens his eyes and can see himself back on the floor, implying it was a hallucination induced by the Krazoa Spirit.

It is considered to be the most difficult test during the game, as the sound and cinematic commonly alter the player, making them lose control. If the test is failed, Fox is seen frozen on a white background with demonic laughter.

General Pepper's ReportEdit

This is the detailed description that General Pepper gives to Fox for selection of this test when contacting him:

"Gained from the Test of Fear. You weren't scared, were you?"

TriviaEdit

• Andross's vision is seen towards the end of the test. It could be that Andross was watching the events take place and took no part in the actual test. The demonic laughter heard (if Fox failed) could indicate that Andross had enjoyed Fox's failure.
